Fun Fall Hair Regimen
The summer heat is one it's way out and the fall is slowly but surely creeping in! I figured it was time for an updated hair regimen since I’ve changed up some of my products. As I’ve mentioned before, I’m a minimalist of sorts so I try to keep my product junkiness to a minimum! You can find the products that I used regularly last year in this post. In this post, I’ll be talking about my current favorites in my hair arsenal.
Shampoo: Kinky Curly Come Clean
This shampoo is fantastic for build up! Because I have low porosity hair that likes to hold onto products, I shampoo every other wash day in comparison to some natural who shampoo once a month. This product does a great job of removing all product build up and dirt with minimal effort, and a little goes a long way. The bottle I’m currently using I’ve had since the end of March, and only about a third of the bottle is gone!

Leave In Conditioner: Kinky Curly Knot Today
Another winner from the Kinky Curly line. When looking for a leave in conditioner, I like a one-stop shop. So I try to find a leave-in conditioner that works well with most, if not all, of the different stylers I like to use. My Giovanni Direct Leave-In is still the GOAT, but for the most part, Kinky Curly Knot Today does the trick too! I also like the slightly thicker consistency of Knot Today when I want something that's going to weigh my hair down and elongate the curls a little more.
Leave In Conditioner: It’s Yours Leave-In Conditioner
I’ve also grown to love It’s Yours Leave-In Conditioner. It leaves my hair feeling really, really soft and also layers well under stylers. I wrote a more detailed review on this leave-in and on the entire It’s Yours Healthy Hair Care line in this post.
Deep Conditioner: Devacurl Heaven in Hair
I’ve been avoiding Devacurl for what feels like ages, but I finally caved after a stylist used their products on my hair. I’m still not crazy about spending lots of money on one hair product, but I had to make an exception for this product because it is pure magic! I still love Eden BodyWorks Jojoba Monoi Deep Conditioner, but I must say that Devacurl Heaven in Hair is a top competitor. This product leaves my hair extremely soft and manageable, it smells heavenly, they say that a little bit of their products go a long way and I agree. So if you have a little extra money to spend, I’d highly recommend Heaven in Hair.
Deep Conditioner: Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Moist Deep Conditioner
On the cheaper end, I've also been loving the 3 Minute Miracle Moist conditioner. I used to use Herbal Essence Hello Hydration, but after a while my hair pretty much stopped responding to it. After seeing the success of a few YouTubers who have similar curl patterns, I decided to give Aussie a try and I'm so glad I did! I love the regular Aussie Mega Moist conditioner for a co-wash, and I also love the 3 Minute Miracle when I don't want to use my pricier Deva Curl DC. Aussie products leave my hair feeling super soft moisturized and their products also clump my curls. I have 3C/4A curls all over, so some products work well with the 3C but not so much with the 4A. Aussie works for my entire head, which is pretty impressive.
Stylers
I’m still loving all of my stylers! You can check out all of the different stylers I use for different hairstyles in this post.
That’s it! I hope you find this post helpful, thank you for journeying with me.
